I have had several people tell me that they don't like the personalized menus in Microsoft Office. These are the pulldowns that only show the functions you use the most often and then after a couple of seconds open up to the full list of choices. I can take them or leave them myself. However, they are actually very easy to shut off.
In any Office program click on Tools - Customize. Click on the Options tab. There you will have several options of how the personalized menus should work including how to shut them off.
